At TenCate AquaVia, our scope starts from the design phase up to the close collaboration with our customers and partners in training, supporting and optimizing the overall infrastructure costs. We always keep this key goal in mind: make sure that our aquatextile is the best solution to fit the expectations of the project to restore clean water to nature.

For whom this solution is designed?
Our aquatextile range is aimed at civil engineering designers, local municipalities, water agencies, stakeholders who are looking for alternative solutions to manage stormwater not only in quantity but also in quality.
Water pollution is high and well known. Whether we are citizens, industrial consumers of water or wildlife and flora, we all need clean rivers, lakes and groundwater. Clean rivers, lakes and groundwater, as well as preserved wildlife and flora are increasingly the concern of all citizens.
Water protection is therefore one of the priorities of the European Union. European Water Policy aims to get polluted waters clean again, and ensure clean waters are staying clean. Our solution scope acts in line with this EU directive.

Our mission is the answer to our vision of restoring water at its rightful place in our environment and we aim at making urban development and environmental protection coexisting harmoniously.
Fresh water resources are highly vital and scarce (less than 1% on earth). Additionally, the urbanization growth entails an increase in impermeable surfaces, producing large volumes of runoff water polluted with oil. TODAY, it is even more crucial to manage stormwater in quality and not only in quantity by ensuring greater infiltration of clean water. Thanks to our TenCate GeoClean® aquatextiles, we provide a clean, sustainable, economical and maintenance-free solution, avoiding expensive and often saturated collection structures.
